NEWSFLASH..Lowe appointed manager...
Wollaton FC are pleased to announce that Ian Lowe has been appointed 1st team Manager and Andrew Elks Asst Manager.
Ian and Andrew arrive from DunkirkFC where they both enjoyed success as Reserve team
Managers and last season Ian was Asst Manager of Dunkirk 1st Team.

This season, Wollaton have lead from the top by sitting in the number one spot every week bar one. The management team will be hoping to push on in 2009 and bring back the NSL Senior League trophy. They face tough opposition from close rivals, Boots Athletic, Basford United and former CML club Bilborough Pelican to name but a few. Come down to the WSA and support the boys in the push for silver.
Wollaton Football Club have four adult teams, two of which became founder members of the Nottinghamshire Senior League in 2004 with the other two still residing in the Midland Amateur Alliance (the league which the club originally joined in their foundation season of 1954). The team enjoyed a successful first season in the NSL with the first's winning the Senior Division and Senior League Cup double, the side shares their Wollaton Sports Association Ground with Wollaton Cricket Club.
